Cake Smash & Splash
Cake smash sessions are a fantastic fun and messy way to celebrate your little one’s birthday!!!
Cake smash & splash
Celebrating a milestone in your life?
What could be bigger than your baby’s 1st birthday?! Let’s do it in style!
At Phase Photography, we don’t start or finish with the cake smash alone (unless you want to). To get the most out of your time with us (about 1-1.5 hours), we break your photo shoot down into a couple of cake size pieces. Start with a few family photos, then a few individual photos of little one dressed to impress before getting covered in butter cream. Then we change into cake destruction attire!
Many families like to bring along their own cake, themes, banners and balloons, which is great! We also have several backdrops for you to choose from and upon request we can arrange the cake for you too.
After the smash, we will draw a warm bath in our vintage tin tub for little one to clean up while splashing in the bubbles!
To finish off, we’ll wrap little one up from the bath into a towel or robe to dry off. This lends itself to a few final photos all snuggled up looking (probably) quite sleepy.
While we happily offer all the above, you are very welcome to choose the elements you would like to take part in and leave the ones you don’t.
As Cake Smash and Splash shoots are bespoke for each family, we offer only the standard Smash and Splash voucher to buy online. This includes a short family shoot, the cake smash, bath shoot and towel down shoot, with one 8×6 inch printed portrait included. If you would like us to supply the cake, feel free to drop us a call or email.
What people say…
“Our little Alina had a wonderful time during her cake smash. I was worried she wouldn’t like having the butter cream all over her skin but she was too distracted by eating it, and there was some left over to take home, result!”
Mrs Zhang, lewes
“Aadan was unstoppable! He loved the cake which the team at Phase provided for us, and loved the bath shoot even more – didn’t like it so much when we took him out! The bonus part was I didn’t need to do the clearing up!
