Raring to try out all our new learnt techniques from a photography conference in Tunisia last week, I was delighted to be asked by the award winning Worthing Light Orchestra Company to photograph their promotional photographs for their future show OKLAHOMA!

Oklahoma! was the first musical written by the dynamic Rodgers and Hammerstein team and was a smash hit on Broadway in1943. It transferred to the London stage and enjoyed a successful run in 1947. The show was like a breath of spring to Londoners, still suffering from the aftermath of the deprivation and trauma of 5 years of war.

The shoot was photographed surprisingly just down the road in an American themed house in Shoreham. The WLOC team were dressed and ready for action in their cowboy boots, hats and bottles of booze!
